cliffy! I just noticed your blog address on the eat-magazine was wrong, so may be you could let them know next time. it said www.housebread@blogspot.com ( they used @ instead of .) just a small mistake but no one can get into your site ...I don't think.
anyway, your new oven looks great! and I'll see you around.

This is absolutely the best bread. I bake amateurly but I don't need to anymore. Structure is perfect, crust exactly right, taste unmatchable. We consume it obsessively.

Any chance of home delivery or a retail operation in the future?

Best

I just bought a loaf at Choux Choux. It was the best bread I've ever had and completely in line with my diet of choice (traditional foods). Amazing. I'll be a devoted customer for as long as you're baking!

We love your bread - thank you so much for making it. Christophe is originally from France and he thinks that your pains au chocolat are the best he's had anywhere in Canada. I must say I certainly agree! Truly excellent. We hope that you will keep the operation small - as much as we would like to have bread available closer to to home, we would rather that you keep your sanity! Thanks again for the great bread and délices.

Dear Cliff,

I had the Panettone Biologico over the holidays(had some just a minute ago)that I purchased at Choux Choux and it was amazing.

I have bought the trashy mass produced Italian Panettone in the past and there is zero comparison, yours was absolutely gorgeous! I will not buy a trashy Panettone again!

Thank you for taking risks, being creative and producing a truly artful and exemplary product.

I have been a fan of your work for some time and I look forward to more exciting options moving forward.

Being a bit slow on the uptake, it took me until today to make it to Choux Choux. But I do know a good thing when I find one. I'm going to be a regular.
Cliff's bread is the best loaf I've had in Victoria since the last loaf of his I bought at Wildfire years ago. Fabidoo - lucky Vicotorians - bread, cheese, charcuterie, chocolate, wine, beer, ocean, oak meadows-- what's not to like?

Hi Cliff, I am only about a YEAR late in discovering this post. No matter. I hope you are still doing what matters and that business is good. I am running a tiny operation in Toronto, Ontario with my wife. WE bake once a month and sell to the neighbours. We are going to be visiting Vancouver Island in early July, I would really like to visit if possible. Drop by my blog if you have time.
